Development of user-specific component models

Because the basic components in DSHplus are set-up in a way that they can be parameterized by catalog data, it is unavoidable that they do not represent all possible characteristics and effects of a real fluid power part. Even if DSHplus also provides components at a higher level of detail, the complexity is limited due to numerical reasons and the availability of the parameters.
But especially if DSHplus is used for component development it is absolutely necessary to focus on specific component characteristics. At this stage the open source of DSHplus gives the user always the opportunity to implement his own components at an arbitrary level of detail to the libraries. Especially if there is measuring data available DSHplus offers excellent functionality to represent the behavior during simulation.
Generation of user-specific libraries

Supplementary to the programming of single component parts, FLUIDON GmbH offers the programming of complete user libraries. Dependent on the intended usage of the library the contained component models can be aligned to the DSHplus open source philosophy or all confidential information can be hidden away in precompiled sub-functions. Thus the library can freely be distributed to other users of DSHplus.
Accompanied by special parameter dialogs that display sales information such a library can as well be used as marketing instrument.
Programming of user-specific program extensions

Besides pre-configured interfaces like the DSHplus-Simulink-Export DSHplus provides also interfaces that can be freely accessed by the user.
Using the Parameter Dialog Interface experienced users of DSHplus can generate parameter dialogs that fit exactly to the functionality of their components.
The Interactive Simulation Interface offers functions by which a direct influence onto the simulation run can be achieved.
In future it will also be possible do write an user-specific export and import filter for DSHplus simulation results and measurement data.
